wednesday, occupation forces KILLED TWO men in a targeted assassination, carried out in seilat al harithiya, west of jenin. Salah Sawafta, 24, from Tubas and Hussam Aiyasa, 26, from Sanour, were shot and killed inside of a home. occupation soldiers laid siege to the home, and clashes ensued between the soldiers and palestinian resistance fighters. Sawafta and Aiyasa were both fighters with islamic jihad's al-quds brigades. during the assassination, occupation soldiers also seized two men, Dhirar As Sadi, 50 and Ashraf Taha Jaradat, both affiliated with islamic jihad. while in the town, soldiers forcibly entered numerous homes in searches and some homes were partially demolished with military bulldozers. some residents confronted the invading soldiers but were fired on with rubber-coated metal bullets and concussion grenades.
wednesday, a colonial settler deliberately ran over an elderly palestinian man with a car in al-khader village south of bethlehem. Ahmed Sbeih, 62, has sustained multiple fractures and abrasion and is under treatment at a nearby hospital. Sbeih was returning home when he was hit. he is in moderate condition.
wednesday, occupation bulldozers have continued to raze palestinian land in nablus. for the second consecutive day, military bulldozers have entered the hawwara area, just south of nablus city and have claimed to be building new parks. under this pretense, on wednesday, the bulldozers razed seven dunums of land.

Eyewitnesses report that an Israeli soldier took the identification of Salem Zayada and suddenly pulled the student to the ground by grabbing ahold of his beard. Soldiers drug the young man behind a barrier where seven soldiers beat him.
Hundreds of Palestinians were shouting to stop as they disembarked from their cars while Israeli soldiers trained their machine guns on the people. A nonviolent protest ensued with residents shouting for justice while beginning a sit-in.
