British man broke world record for catching the largest catfish of 114 kg

Mr. Kent (left) and his friend Sean Gillham, and a Thailand’s fishing guide were raising this Mekong catfish of 7 feet (2.1 meters) in length and 114 kg in weight.

A former military officer of British Royal Navy with a small piece of sweet corn as bait fished a huge "monster in water" about 114 kg in Thailand.
David Kent, 54, when he and his wife were on their vacation in Thailand, he had a whim and used a small piece of sweet corn in a nearby lake to try his luck.
He spent almost a day at the lake but got nothing, just as he wanted to give up, something took the hook and this "thing" he should never forget!
After almost 1 hour of fighting, Mr. Kent finally pulled this ‘monster’ ashore – a giant Mekong catfish. They weighted this large fish immediately: 260 pounds! This is a new world record!

Mrs. Kent, 51, missed the fantastic experience, she was then sunbathing outside the hotel they lived.
